EARZ! — The Cotton Swab Box

Solid black walnut with a brass hinge, sized to hold a real fistful of cotton swabs instead of a polite handful. The lid closes like it means it and keeps the dust out. Mostly, though, it looks like something you'd leave out on purpose — which, after years of a torn cardboard box with a flap that stopped closing, is a genuinely novel experience.

FLOZERZ! — The Floss Pick Box

Nobody has ever once put a floss pick back in the bag it came from. Not one person. Ever. So they scatter — drawer, cup, counter, medicine cabinet — a small plastic constellation that undercuts the whole "I do floss, actually" claim. FLOZERZ! is a small black walnut box with a brass hinge that ends that. Sized to sit on a vanity without staging a takeover. Open it, grab one, close it.

Soap HOLDERZ!

Most wooden soap dishes are a flat board with delusions of grandeur. Your bar sits in its own puddle, goes soft, and dissolves into a sad amoeba by Thursday. This one has cherry ridges standing proud of black walnut valleys — each strip shaped first, then glued up — so the bar sits high and the water runs out from under it. Two species, no stain, no dye. The cherry runs warm and light, the walnut dark beneath it, and the whole thing reads as stripes because that's exactly what it is.

Funny thing — the walnut we pulled for this batch happens to run that deep, chocolatey brown that just feels at home in a bathroom. We didn't select black walnut by accident for products that adorn a bathroom...or did we.

Every piece is hand-shaped and hand-finished in a naturally-sourced, food-safe hardwax oil — water-resistant, made for a room with steam in it. Brass hinges on both boxes. Drainage built into the soap dish, not promised by the finish alone.
